Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to serve as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will analyze business processes, evaluate system operations, gather and document requirements, and help translate business needs into technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with users, engineering, and development teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives while supporting system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement. This position is a temp to hire role requiring 3-4 days on-site in Denver, CO. All qualified candidates must be located in the Denver, CO area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C. Responsibilities · Analyze and evaluate information technology systems, business processes, and operational workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. · Partner with business stakeholders to understand user needs, gather requirements, and recommend effective system solutions. · Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and engineering/development teams throughout the project lifecycle. · Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and technical requirements. · Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented. · Identify, document, report, prioritize, and track system defects, issues, and enhancement requests through resolution. · Support system testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of delivered solutions. · Assist with change management activities, user training, and documentation to support successful solution adoption. · Evaluate the impact of proposed system changes and recommend improvements that increase operational efficiency and user experience. · Participate in project planning, status meetings, and cross-functional initiatives while ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar IT/business systems role. Must have telecommunications or cable industry experience Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing business and technical requirements. Strong understanding of systems analysis methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience serving as the liaison between business stakeholders and engineering or development teams. Proven ability to identify, document, prioritize, and track system issues, defects, and enhancement requests through resolution.
