ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Logistics / Inventory Manager to own the movement, storage, and tracking of our inventory — with a specific focus on high-value goods. This isn't a generic warehouse role; you'll be responsible for inventory that requires real security, insurance, and handling discipline. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Manage inventory tracking and reconciliation for high-value goods - Oversee shipping and receiving logistics for valuable/sensitive shipments, including insurance, tracking, and chain-of-custody practices - Set up and maintain security protocols for storage and transit of high-value inventory - Coordinate with carriers experienced in shipping valuable goods - Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent loss, theft, or discrepancies - Manage vendor/carrier relationships for specialized shipping needs WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Prior experience specifically handling high-value inventory and shipping (e.g. jewelry, watches, luxury goods, electronics, or similarly valuable categories) — general warehouse/logistics experience without this is not a fit - Familiarity with insured shipping, signature/chain-of-custody requirements, and loss-prevention practices - Strong organizational and inventory system skills - Comfortable owning both the operational (shipping/receiving) and security side of high-value goods handling NICE TO HAVE - Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer/e-commerce company. - Experience specifically shipping or insuring watches, jewelry, or other luxury/collectible goods. - Familiarity with mystery box / randomized-value product economics, including item-level tracking and RTP (return-to-player) distribution. - Experience working with specialized carriers or insurance providers for high-value shipments. - Familiarity with inventory/warehouse management systems and 3PL relationships.
