We are currently hiring for Crete, looking for a highly energetic and passionate  Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Role: The Maintenance Manager at Domes Resorts is responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the hotel's physical facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, mechanical systems, and outdoor areas. This role ensures that all equipment and facilities meet health, safety, and quality standards. The Maintenance Manager also supervises the maintenance team, oversees repairs, manages budgets, and ensures a clean and safe environment for guests and employees. Some of the responsibilities you will be entrusted with: Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance schedules, emergency repairs, and work orders. Ensure all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), as well as structural components, are in optimal working condition. Supervise the upkeep of guest rooms, lobbies, kitchens, and outdoor spaces to meet the brand’s cleanliness and functionality standards. Recruit, train, and manage the maintenance staff, including performance evaluations, schedules, and team development. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions on equipment use, emergency procedures, and workplace safety. Promote a positive team environment and encourage continuous improvement in skills and service quality. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and health standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any identified risks or deficiencies. Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance logs, and compliance documents for audits or inspections. Respond promptly to guest concerns or issues related to maintenance and provide quick, effective resolutions. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Front Desk) to ensure seamless guest experiences and prompt resolution of any maintenance issues. Continuously assess guest feedback to improve maintenance service quality. Plan and coordinate property improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and installations. Develop timelines, source vendors, and manage budgets for projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with hotel management to prioritize projects that enhance guest satisfaction and property value. Requirements Useful to have: Degree/ Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrician or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry. Knowledge of the English language. Familiarity with mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and infrastructure.
