WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst Consultant , you will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping our client identify opportunities to improve business processes, enhance technology solutions, and deliver meaningful outcomes. You will lead complex initiatives spanning multiple business units and technology domains, translating business objectives into scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions.
In this role, you will partner closely with product owners, business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation. You will provide leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, helping teams navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong stakeholder management skills, making you a trusted advisor across both business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement
Lead requirements gathering efforts through workshops, interviews, process modeling, and stakeholder collaboration
Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and solution specifications
Support business case development, solution evaluations, vendor assessments, and technology selection activities
Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization efforts with product owners and business leaders
Analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and customer experience
Manage and support enterprise applications, including configuration, workflow optimization, reporting, and user access management
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery
Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, system models, user guides, and operational procedures
Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and stakeholder signoff
Support software releases, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities across development, testing, and production environments
Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party technology providers
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and standards
