You'll primarily lead our morning coding program, introducing campers to programming languages similar to Scratch while guiding exciting engineering projects using Arduino circuit boards, sensors, proprietary robots, and other innovative technologies. Beyond coding, you'll foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence as campers explore STEM in a fun and supportive environment. SUMMER CODING LEAD TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Facilitate Coding Lessons: Teach coding concepts using programming languages similar to Scratch while creating an engaging and interactive learning experience. - Coach Engineering Projects: Guide campers as they build inventions using Arduino circuit boards, sensors, proprietary robots, and other STEM technologies. - Mentorship and Guidance: Lead campers through interactive coding and STEM activities, supporting both their educational and personal development. - Safety and Supervision: Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all campers while adhering to camp safety guidelines. - Activity Coordination: Help organize and lead camp activities, ensuring each day is dynamic, engaging, and enriching for every camper.
