YOUR MISSION Sourcing & Procurement - Source components and equipment packages for our upcoming plant: mechanical, chemical, and electrical - Set up and improve procurement systems that scale with the business - Ensure timely, cost-effective part acquisition in sync with technical needs and engineering schedule Supplier Relationships - Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships - Negotiate pricing, performance, and Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) - Maintain alignment on specs, delivery, and quality Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with engineering to align specs, lead times, and sourcing options - Partner with finance and leadership to refine cost models and manage spend Technical Expertise - Understand how complex systems fit together: materials, processes, tolerances, and trade-offs - Read technical drawings and challenge assumptions when needed - Confidently engage with engineers and suppliers on technical detail Contract & Risk Management - Review and manage supplier contracts and agreements - Monitor market trends and supply chain risks, respond quickly and effectively Continuous Improvement - Push improvements across sourcing, logistics, and procurement operations - Identify and implement unique ways to optimize cost, speed, and reliability Your targets are your North Star.
