Date: 21 Jul 2026 Location: Shanghai, Shanghai, CN Company: Bureau Veritas Main Responsibilities: 1. RFQ Requirement Alignment and Proposal/Contract Drafting • Clearly understanding of RFQ requirements • Liaise with internal related departments and external subcontractors for scopes clarification & confirmation and cost inputs • Prepare the draft Profitability Analysis (PA) with supporting documents for internal review and approval • Take the lead in drafting the proposal and contract documents covering core elements such as scope of work, pricing terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, acceptance procedures, and liability for breach of contract, ensuring that terms accurately match business needs and comply with BV policy 2. Contract Negotiation and Risk Assessment • Organize and lead contract negotiations with counterparties on key terms • Identify potential contract risks (e.g., legal and compliance risks, performance risks, cost risks) for BV legal team review and final approval • Facilitate the internal company approval process for contracts (e.g., review by department heads, legal teams, and senior management), track approval progress, and resolve issues raised during the review 3. Contract Performance Tracking and Control • Track contract performance, conduct regular communications with business execution teams and counterparties to verify that progress meets agreed terms, and promptly identify and coordinate the resolution of performance deviations (e.g., delivery delays) • Handle change requests during contract performance: Assess the impact of changes on costs, schedules, and risks, organize negotiations among all parties 4. Contract Archives and Information Management • Be responsible for collating, numbering, and filing contracts and related documents (e.g., negotiation minutes, supplementary agreements and correspondence) 5. Lead the bidding documents preparation 6. Build and maintain relationships with clients, and other business connections 7. Comply with the requirements of the Company compliance and HSE management system requirements 8. Any other tasks assigned by N+1. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above on the major of Marine 2. 2.Engineering/Naval Architecture or relative majors 3.10+ years relevant working experience 4.Familiar with different type of offshore units 5.Has commercial or contract experience 6.Familiar with Class Society business is preferred 7.Fluent and good communication capability in English 8.Based in Shanghai Opens in a new tab.
