This role will be responsible for the accounting function as well as providing relevant support and decision-making information to other functions within the business for further optimization and efficiency Key performance areas • Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts • Assisting Financial Manager in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts • Take full responsibility for the general ledger through to the trial balance • Analysis of variances and to spot trends and improve company performance • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasts • Liaise with Department Managers to prepare meaningful and value-added variance analysis • Loading, authorizing and approving bank payments • Sales by product and user analysis • Compile ad-hoc reports as requested • Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet line items • Manage the audit process with the external auditing firm • Payroll management & administration experience required • Working Experience with various banking platforms • ERP Systems: Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Online, QuickBooks Qualifications and experience • BCom/BAcc Finance/Accounting degree • SAICA/SAIPA/ CIMA membership or completed article clerkship • Experience within the Tech or Hosting environment an advantage Competencies and Skills • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent analytical abilities • Excellent delivery standards • Ability to meet deadlines • Basic understanding of API, AI & SQL • Strong attention to detail • Assertiveness and ability to influence Protection of Personal Information (POPIA) By submitting your application, you consent to 1-grid (Pty) Ltd collecting, processing, storing, and using your personal information for recruitment and selection purposes in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
