Description
ClearEdge is a mission-focused technology company supporting government and defense customers with innovative solutions for critical operations. As an Application Engineer IV, you will develop, secure, and maintain data-driven analytic systems that support large-scale data processing, vulnerability assessment workflows, and authorization requirements across mission environments.
What You'll Do
• Design and enhance software for large-scale data processing and analytics supporting mission-critical operations
• Develop, maintain, and optimize analytic tools and data pipelines using Python
• Support system authorization activities, including Risk Management Framework documentation and compliance checks
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and interpret Nessus scan results for security and risk management
• Monitor data systems, investigate issues affecting data quality and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on data needs and security requirements
What You Need
• TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
• Minimum experience (varies by education): 12 years with High School Diploma/GED, 10 years with Associate's Degree, 8 years with Bachelor's Degree, 6 years with Master's Degree, or 4 years with Doctorate's Degree
• IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data processing and automation
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems
• Knowledge of system authorization, Risk Management Framework, and vulnerability management including Nessus
Nice to Have
• Strong experience in analytic development and data optimization
• Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking
• Familiarity with PIG, PySpark, and Scala
• Experience developing AWS Lambda functions
• Hands-on experience working in Agile environments
