Armed Security Officer - Gatehouse & Patrol Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Open Availability Hours: Overnight (exact schedule to be assigned based on operational needs) Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Position Overview Cambridge Security Services is seeking professional Armed Security Officers for upscale country clubs, residential gatehouses, and patrol assignments. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through visible deterrence, access control, and proactive patrol. Key Responsibilities • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior & exterior) • Control access and verify guest/vendor credentials • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances • Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports • Provide high-level customer service to residents, members, and guests • Enforce property rules and post orders Minimum Requirements • Valid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses (Required) • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record • Minimum 2 years of armed security experience (preferred) • High School Diploma or equivalent • 21 years of age or older • Ability to pass background screening and drug test • Reliable transportation Skills & Qualifications • Strong written and verbal communication • Professional appearance and demeanor • Situational awareness and sound judgment • Ability to remain calm under pressure Physical & Work Environment • Indoor and outdoor assignments • Extended standing and walking • Exposure to various weather conditions Benefits (Full-Time Employees) • Major Medical • Dental & Vision Insurance • Paid Vacation • Industry-Leading Training • Work Perks Discount Program • Free Uniforms
