About the role The Art Director is a craft specialist and independent creative contributor within the studio. You deliver high-quality design across multiple brands and formats, working from creative briefs set by the Associate Creative Director. You collaborate with Senior Copywriters and fellow Art Directors to produce integrated, multi-channel creative that is brand-true, audience-relevant, and SLA-compliant. What you will be doing Design across a wide range of digital formats — email, paid social, display, digital OOH, web, and video support Maintain brand integrity across all visual output, applying each institution's distinct identity with precision and care Work from briefs provided by the Associate Creative Director, delivering design concepts and executions to the agreed quality standard and timeline Partner with Senior Copywriters and Copywriters to ensure visual and verbal elements of every asset are fully integrated Use Pencil and other AI-assisted design tools to enhance production speed and creative iteration, applying rigorous human quality judgment at every stage Work within OMG to manage your active workload, update project status, and flag capacity or scheduling issues proactively Contribute to the QA and review process, ensuring all design assets are technically accurate, brand-compliant, and delivery-ready before approval Participate in brand immersion sessions to build deep knowledge of university brands, their audiences, and the compliance requirements of higher education marketing Adapt and version existing creative across formats, sizes, and channels — including both manual adaptation and AI-assisted resizing and reformatting What you need to be great in this role A portfolio demonstrating strong art direction and design craft across digital channels — email, social, display, and/or video Professional proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma Experience working in high-volume, multi-brand content production environments, with a structured, detail-oriented approach to delivery Understanding of accessibility, email design specifications, and digital production requirements Experience with or genuine interest in AI-assisted design tools and workflows Familiarity with higher education, healthcare, or mission-driven marketing is a meaningful differentiator Ability to manage multiple concurrent briefs without losing quality or missing deadlines Proficiency with AI design and image generation tools ( Pencil , Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or equivalent) to enhance creative output and iteration speed Experience building personal AI-assisted design workflows to improve efficiency and quality Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated design outputs and apply creative judgment to ensure brand quality Agentic approach to multi-brief creative execution: organized, systematic, and proactive Compensation Base salary range: $110,500.00 to $123,500.00 USD Compensation varies based on location, experience, qualifications, and business needs Additional Information Equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive working environment Sustainability goals embedded across project lifecycles and departments
