This is a critical leadership position supporting a data governance and business process automation initiative. This position will serve as a strategic delivery lead within a complex client environment, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and managing a small team to ensure successful execution of key initiatives. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, leveraging deep Asset Management expertise to deliver and enable operational processes across complex Financial Services initiatives.
Location: Must be Atlanta based. Willing to work onsite, with a preference for 4 days per week.
What You'll Do
Lead data governance initiatives focused on securities data flows and regulatory compliance requirements
Collaborate on business process automation projects using the Appian platform
Deliver production-ready SQL queries, data validation frameworks, and technical documentation that require minimal client review
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues (similar to addressing production exceptions)
Work independently while maintaining accountability for deliverable quality and project timelines
Interface directly with client stakeholders to ensure alignment and build trust
Mentor/oversee a small engagement team
What You'll Bring
10+ years of progressive experience successfully delivering complex programs
5+ years of management consulting experience with a proven track record of leading transformation initiatives at the enterprise level
Proven experience within Financial Services Asset Management, specifically understanding regulatory requirements and securities data flows
Experience supporting workflow automation initiatives using Appian or similar BPM platforms
Demonstrated ability to design and implement data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and compliance protocols
Advanced SQL capabilities and experience with data validation, analysis, and Excel-based quality checks
Track record of delivering production-ready work that meets or exceeds quality standards on first submission
Initiative to identify issues early and implements solutions without being prompted
Preferred Background with BlackRock Aladdin, Preqin, or similar asset management platforms
Ability to work on-site or hybrid as needed with strong commitment to meeting deadlines
Professional maturity to rebuild trust with a client after a negative consultancy experience; strong communication and stakeholder management skills
