The incumbent is responsible for the development of junior Employee Relations staff. What You'll Do • Leads the implementation of employee relations programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. •   Employee relations issues resolved to managers’ and employees’ satisfaction while   maintaining   employee engagement. • Conducts investigations into employee relations issues that have been escalated by managers and/or   HR Generalist/HRBP . •   Effective resolution of   e mployee relations issues. • Ensures compliance with employment legislation while supporting the   timely   resolution of employee issues • A dvises and coaches managers on the resolution of employee relations issues, including compliance and application of employment laws and regulations and conflict resolution. • E nsures   administrative tasks are completed ( e.g.   documentation for investigations) .   D eliver other HR projects ( e.g.   deliver harassment training)   in a timely manner . • Manag es , coaches, and develops Employee Relations staff reporting to this position. • Other duties and projects as may be assigned. What You Need • 9 + years progressive HR   experience   preferably in ER   and management • Certified Professional HR (PHR) , SHRM - CP   or Senior Professional HR (SPHR)   preferred • Understanding of   HR best practices and current regulations.   A bility to   establish   strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and   execute on   long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business. • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills .   Strong written and verbal communication skills .   Commitment to professionalism timelines accuracy follow-through and   anticipating   business needs .   Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills .   Innovative, future- oriented   and open to new thoughts and ideas. • Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer. • Ability to build team morale and promote corporate culture.
