Position Summary As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the Community Manager in all community operations with an emphasis on accounts payable. You'll work directly with residents, support leasing activities, and help maintain high customer service standards. Our Assistant Managers are critical members of our team. They're responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth community operations. What You'll Do Support team members and the Community Manager through mentoring, communication, and leadership. Lead resident relations and support fellow team members. Supervise vendors and ensure professional service standards across property operations. Support leasing and marketing goals to maintain occupancy. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive resident experiences. Walk apartments and prepare units for move-ins. Resolve resident conflicts and follow up consistently. Monitor curb appeal, lead management, and compliance audits. Assist with day-to-day community operations and team training. Maintain vendor relationships and manage bids for projects. Manage billing, cash flow, delinquency management, and month-end reporting. Approve and code invoices for payment. Post rent and utility charges, collect rent, and manage write-offs. Support budget and financial performance objectives. Complete financial reporting and analysis. Coordinate resident service charge entries with the Concierge Team. Review budget variances with the Community Manager.
