Who You’ll Work With:
You will be part of the Global Workplace Operations team, partnering closely with local business leadership, regional teams, and global stakeholders to deliver a seamless workplace experience across Japan & Supporting remotely South Korea & Australia
What You’ll Do:
This role is responsible for leading soft services facilities management across Japan, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and efficient workplace environment aligned with corporate standards.
You will oversee day-to-day workplace operations, vendor management, space coordination, and employee experience, acting as a key interface between employees, landlords, and service providers.
The role requires strong operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, and service excellence, with a focus on maintaining a best-in-class workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Operations & Service Delivery
•
Lead day-to-day soft services operations, including cleaning, pantry services, office upkeep, and workplace environment management
•
Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure service quality and workplace standards are consistently met
•
Ensure all services are delivered in line with corporate standards and SLAs
•
Oversee office services including meeting room readiness, MFDs, and shared office infrastructure
•
Local authority liaison (Fire dept / Labor bureau)
•
Business continuity & disaster preparedness
Space Management & Workplace Coordination
•
Manage workspace planning, staff moves, churn activities, and office reconfigurations
•
Maintain space management systems and support space allocation and cost tracking
•
Coordinate with internal teams (including IT) to support seamless workplace changes
•
Maintain workplace data including floor plans, seating records, and employee allocations
Vendor & Contract Management
•
Manage vendors across soft services (cleaning, pantry, office supplies, support services)
•
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and drive continuous service improvement
•
Liaise with landlords and building management for facilities-related matters
