The Banking Systems Application and IT Operations Officer is responsible for the internal configuration, function support and controlled enhancement of the core banking application and other bank applications, where deemed necessary and IT operational support. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Banking Application Administration •    Administer and support the Bank’s core banking and business applications. •    Perform application configuration, parameter maintenance, and user administration in accordance with approved change management procedures. •    Support implementation of new banking products, services, and system functionality. •    Assist with application testing, upgrades, releases, and patches. •    Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment activities. •    Maintain application documentation, configuration records, and operating procedures. •    Ensure applications operate in accordance with business and regulatory requirements. •    Act as data steward for core business applications. Vendor and Business Liaison •    Serve as the primary liaison between business units and software vendors. •    Log, monitor, and escalate application issues until resolution. •    Coordinate vendor support activities and monitor service levels. •    Participate in enhancement discussions and recommend system improvements. •    Assist with implementation of new modules and functionality. •    Evaluate vendor release notes and communicate business impacts. Business Systems Support •    Provide functional support for banking systems including payment systems, treasury, securities, pensions, funds administration, SWIFT, document management, and reporting platforms. •    Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis. •    Support business users with system enquiries and training. •    Monitor interfaces between banking applications. IT Operations & End-User Support •    Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. •    Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software. •    Coordinate equipment setup for new employees. •    Maintain an inventory of IT assets and equipment. •    Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the appropriate IT resource or vendor. Change & Project Support •    Participate in system implementation projects. •    Assist with data migration, system integration, and configuration activities. •    Support business process automation initiatives. •    Prepare implementation plans and user communication. •    Develop user guides and training materials. Information Security & Compliance •    Ensure adherence to information security policies and standards. •    Support periodic user access reviews. •    Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity testing. •    Maintain audit evidence and support regulatory examinations. •    Ensure compliance with change management procedures. Documentation •    Maintain application configuration documentation. •    Update system operating procedures, where may be necessary. •    Maintain knowledge articles and troubleshooting guides. •    Document incidents, problems, and resolutions. Requirements/ Qualifications : • • • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Finance, Accounting, or Business with demonstrated systems experience • IT specific qualifications or certifications, a plus • Experience administering enterprise business applications. • Experience working with software vendors and third-party service providers. • Experience providing end-user technical support in a corporate environment. • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and testing. • Up to 5-8 years of experience in core banking systems, banking applications support, financial services technology, a plus • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organizational and documentation skills Competitive compensation package will commensurate with relevant experience and qualification.  RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited appreciates your interest.
