The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing creditors and be comfortable handling cases from start to finish as lead counsel. Job Responsibilities: • Represent secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. • Primarily handle creditor-side litigation, with occasional representation of debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings. • Manage cases from intake through resolution. • Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda; argue motions in court; attend depositions and hearings. • Advise clients on bankruptcy strategy and recovery options. Requirements: • 7+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a strong focus on creditor-side work. • Proven ability to first-chair bankruptcy litigation and manage matters independently. • Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom skills. • Admission to practice in Texas.
