The role requires strong product knowledge, speed, organization and the ability to coordinate smoothly with restaurant teams during busy service periods. By maintaining high standards of preparation, presentation, hygiene and guest care, the bartender contributes directly to service consistency and the premium atmosphere expected at Nobu by the Beach. Key Responsibilities * Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to approved recipes and service standards. * Serve cocktails, spirits, wines and other beverages with consistent presentation and quality. * Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience. * Recommend suitable beverages based on guest preferences and menu selections. * Maintain a clean, organized and fully prepared bar workstation before and during service. * Coordinate closely with restaurant service teams to ensure timely beverage delivery. * Monitor bar stock and communicate replenishment requirements when necessary. * Handle glassware, bar equipment and beverage ingredients safely and responsibly. * Follow established sanitation procedures across all beverage preparation areas. * Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards. * Ensure responsible handling and service of alcoholic beverages. * Manage several drink orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. * Support smooth service during peak dining periods and high guest volumes. * Engage naturally with guests and provide professional responses to beverage-related questions. * Maintain awareness of wines, spirits, cocktails and premium beverage offerings. * Assist with bar setup, closing procedures and daily operational checks. * Work effectively with colleagues to maintain consistent front-of-house service standards. * Report equipment, stock or operational issues requiring management attention. * Participate in training designed to improve beverage knowledge and service capability. * Represent Nobu by the Beach with polished communication and professional hospitality standards. Ideal Profile * Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender or in a similar beverage service position. * Previous experience in a luxury hotel, premium restaurant or high-end bar environment is preferred. * Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 2 qualification or a comparable professional bar course is desirable. * Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and bar service techniques. * Excellent verbal communication and guest interaction skills. * Confident serving a diverse international clientele. * Strong team orientation with the ability to coordinate effectively with restaurant colleagues. * Comfortable managing multiple tasks during busy service periods. * Good understanding of sanitation, hygiene and safe beverage handling requirements. * Professional appearance and composed approach when working under pressure. * Strong attention to drink quality, presentation and guest preferences. * Willingness to continue developing wine, spirit and food and beverage knowledge.
