Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours: 42 Hours weekly (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with one early finish per week and Saturdays 8am to 2pm on a rota basis)
Salary: OTE up to £42,000 (uncapped) with basic of £32,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE
Maidstone Mercedes-Benz is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Bodyshop Advisor to join our Team on site.
Headed up by our fantastic management team, who between them share a wealth of experience within Lookers, therefore the best training will be given. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career with the Bodyshop team. As a Bodyshop Advisor for our Bodyshop, you will provide a courteous, welcoming, and professional service as customer liaison both in person, via telephone and email. You will also be responsible for welcoming customers to site, you will ensure all visitors consistently receive a professional and courteous welcome. You will deal with incoming customer/insurance enquiries and make customer bookings.
You must have previous experience in a similar customer facing role. Motor trade or Bodyshop experience is desirable, but not essential. You will have strong customer service skills and focus. You will need to have a full driving licence with a good driving record.
Provide regular communication to customers keeping them informed of repair progress, additional work needed or vehicle completion, ensuring
Lookers database is kept up to date.
Ensure all work is managed and administered in line with Lookers defined processes.
Upsell of bodywork and wheel repair work to customers as appropriate.
Process invoices and ensure payment is received in full before vehicles are released.
Liaise with internal aftersales colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworking
Help manage customer problems, complaints and difficult situations bringing them to a speedy, satisfactory conclusion for all concerned.
