Through our subsidiaries, Moniepoint Inc. processes over $250 billion in digital payment transaction value annually. About the role We're looking for a skilled C Developer to join our IT team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain reliable, high-performance C modules for embedded systems — from kernel-level components to reusable libraries that integrate cleanly with higher-level languages.   What You'll Do Design and build clean, maintainable C code Develop kernel modules and libraries for embedded systems Implement and optimize for quality and performance Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and integration issues Test code for quality, reliability, and durability Maintain automated testing and code quality standards Create reusable code that integrates seamlessly with higher-level languages (Java, Go, Node.js, Python) What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field 5+ years of professional experience as a C Developer Strong proficiency in C, with in-depth knowledge of STL and Boost Working knowledge of at least one OOP language (Java, Python, C#, or C++) Experience with embedded systems and low-level hardware interactions Familiarity with debugging/analysis tools such as Valgrind and Lint Solid understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN, or Mercurial) Strong systems design and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Experience with Linux systems Familiarity with Lua Familiarity with XML What We Offer Culture — A people-first environment where every voice is heard and every opinion carries weight Learning — Ongoing development through internal tech talks, training, and knowledge-sharing Compensation — Competitive salary, pension, health insurance, Employee Stock Options, annual bonus, and additional benefits Moniepoint is an equal opportunity employer.
