To support a nationwide teletherapy initiative, the part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide remote occupational therapy services, collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists, and assist clients in achieving their therapy goals through virtual platforms. Key responsibilities • Provide remote occupational therapy interventions to help clients improve their functional abilities • Educate clients and caregivers on strategies to enhance independence and well-being • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards Required qualifications • Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) • Active California State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License or ability to apply • Experience in clinical, private practice, hospital, or home health settings • Technical proficiency for conducting teletherapy through digital platforms • Comfortable working with pediatric clients (18 months and older) and experience with neurodiverse populations
