Job Description:
CROWN Hellas Can Packaging SA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance and repair on can manufacturing equipment during day shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on can-making machinery, including presses, bodymakers, decorators, and other associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and failures efficiently to minimize production downtime.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably within a manufacturing environment, ideally in can packaging or similar high-speed production.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work day shifts as required.
• Good communication skills in English and Greek.
