Position Overview The Capital Equipment Supervisor is responsible for  leading the daily operations of the Capital Equipment team while ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of  Velo3D's  additive manufacturing equipment. This position provides direct supervision to Lead Capital Equipment Technicians ,  Capital Equipment Technicians , and Process Technicians , balancing hands-on technical work with leadership and administrative responsibilities.   The Capital Equipment Supervisor is accountable for team performance, employee development, work prioritization, staffing, and maintenance execution while supporting production  objectives . Working closely with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Facilities, this role ensures maintenance activities are  completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact to production. The ideal candidate is an experienced maintenance professional who  demonstrates  strong technical  expertise , effective leadership, and a commitment to developing high-performing teams.
