Description
We are looking for mid/entirety level Carpenters to work with our crews building bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads, and boardwalks throughout the State of WI. Work week is Monday through Friday afternoon.  $150.00 per day per diem for locations over 50 miles from your residence,  Monday through Thursday. We offer Company paid heath insurance and life insurance . We also provide disability,  dental, vision insurance. Along with a 401K matching percentage.   Room for advancement. Experience: 3 years Overview: The Carpenter is responsible for installing and repairing wood structures on the construction site. With this they will also be needed to build and set forming for concrete along the assisting in pouring said concrete. Roles and Responsibilities: • Install formwork according to the contract documents • Collaborate with construction team to ensure proper construction sequencing • Exhibit competency and eGiciency in the use of relevant carpentry tools • Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality and safety standards • Install scaGolding, temporary supports, and other safety measures to support construction processes. • Perform repairs and maintenance on existing formwork as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. • Follow all safety protocols on the job site • Communicate with site supervisors to ensure smooth site operation. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction • Proficient in the use of carpentry tools, including hand and power tools. • Strong understanding of formwork construction, concrete processes, and carpentry techniques. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications. • Knowledge of carpentry related regulations and safety procedures • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a construction team. • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform carpentry work in various weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license; additional certifications for specialized tools or equipment are a bonus.
