Job Description: • Casual Grade 2 Maternity Physiotherapist – Inpatient Maternity Unit. St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy • Weekends and AL/SL cover weekdays • Negotiable start and finish times - flexibility to work with family/external commitments • Excellent employee benefits • Friendly, supportive team environment in a great location St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy is a centrally located private hospital, incorporating a large, busy and highly reputable maternity unit. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with recent experience in maternity/women’s health to join our physiotherapy team on a casual basis. Our maternity physiotherapist is responsible for providing post-natal physiotherapy advice and education for all post-natal admissions, and inpatient antenatal intervention on request. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of an exceptional multi-disciplinary team, to provide high quality, patient centred care. Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): • Effective management of a busy clinical caseload • Prioritisation and workload allocation • Communication with the multidisciplinary team The successful candidate will have: • Recent experience in maternity/women’s health • Post graduate qualifications desirable • An ability to work independently and competently • A commitment to high quality patient care • Well-developed communication skills, and demonstrated experience working as part of an effective team Benefits include: A supportive and friendly atmosphere, salary packaging (increase your take home pay), ongoing education support, comprehensive orientation, uniform, discounted car parking and easy access to public transport.
