We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a casual basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.
This is a fast-paced production environment where maintaining high volume output is crucial. To succeed in this role, you’ll need previous experience in a similar environment and be comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
• Familiarity with shed maintenance, ore stockpile management, and remote site work.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
• Comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace
• Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations.
• Good record-keeping, which is essential for compliance purposes.
• Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant, and report faults.
• Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
• Valid and current drivers licence
• Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
• Relevant VOC’s for other machinery operations.
• Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
