Position: Fitter Turner/ Fabricator Welder/ Fitter Welder and Trade Assistant. Location: Glenbrook, Auckland, New Zealand About Us: IMG is a heavy engineering company that delivers maintenance, fabrication and engineering services and a range of innovative solutions to clients throughout the North Island.  With a strong focus on precision engineering and craftsmanship. Job Responsibilities: • Maintenance Fitter: Maintain plant machinery in shut down environments, general maintenance on plant. • Fabricator Welder: Fabricate metal structures and components, read blueprints, and perform welding tasks to join metal pieces together. • Fitter Welder: Conduct fitting and welding tasks, assemble and install mechanical components, and ensure the highest quality standards. • Trade Assistant: Providing support with tools and material preparation, equipment handling, and site cleanup Requirements: • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications. • Must have the ability to speak and understand English clearly . • Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the specific trade. • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and plans. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety protocols.
