Diese Position berichtet an: Procurement Team Lead __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval. The work model for the role is: onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Supports the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the global category leader. Supports global sourcing initiatives by running market evaluation and benchmark studies for the Category team. • Onboards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective Global Category Manager and Global Supplier Quality Engineer, runs regular supplier evaluations, and provides supplier reports to global counterparts. • Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. Confirms the delivery with suppliers, monitors, and tracks supplier performance to PO requirements. Runs regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold. • Fosters communication internally, externally, and between businesses and supports the implementation of procurement activities and initiatives in the region/country through this clear communication. Qualifications for the role • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related fields • Minimum 5 years working experience in China for new Energy Power battery pack system used in Rail transit vehicles or Electric Vehicles. Experience with LTO cell blocks and Battery Management Systems is a plus. • Minimum 5~10 years working experience in New supplier development and Supplier quality management Good knowledge in the machining/mechanical category & industry would be preferred. • Familiar with technology and production process of components such as welded aluminum profiles- and housings, cooling plate forming, injection molded plastic parts and laminated busbars/cables. • Excellent coordination, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different senior level roles internally and externally with different suppliers • Excellent English communication and reporting abilities • Excellent Market investigation and data analysis capabilities More about us ABB Traction  Division is a recognized leader in onboard propulsion technologies that drive innovation in rail, bus, and industrial vehicle electrification.
