Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
• Safely deliver products that keep America’s restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores running.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and report conditions accurately in DOT inspection logs.
• Accurately manage documentation such as the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
• Utilize your knowledge of driving regulations to maneuver the vehicle smoothly both on the road and at customer locations.
• Maintain detailed driver logs per DOT regulations, noting delivery receipts and product conditions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products directly into customer facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation.
Qualifications Required:
• You must be at least 21 years old.
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively for job safety and communication.
