Custodian Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Custodian to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. position is available on first shift. Benefits: • Weekly Pay • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance • 401(k) with a generous company match • Free Basic Life Insurance • Short & Long-Term Disability Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263 Responsibilities: • Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms • Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily • Dust walls • Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility • Operate weedwhacker to maintain outdoor shrubbery as needed • Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked • Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies • Work in a fast-paced team environment Education Requirements/Qualifications: • Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required. • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent • Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred Job Requirements/Special Skills: • Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish • Ability to work independently and on a team • Strong verbal communication skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
