We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to inspire and guide our dedicated cleaning team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our client sites consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, directly contributing to Kindred's reputation for outstanding service. As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will: • Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support. • Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards. • Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources. • Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow. Minimum requirements: • Previous cleaning or supervising experience. • Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed. • Can reliably commute to the site location. • Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments. • Complete tasks within a specified timeframe. • An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement. About the role As a Cleaning Supervisor at Kindred, your day-to-day will be dynamic and hands-on, placing you at the heart of our operational success. You will lead your team by example, coordinating daily cleaning tasks from meticulous dusting to thorough sanitisation, ensuring every area meets our impeccable standards. Your proactive approach will guarantee a pristine and welcoming environment for our clients. A key part of your role involves training and mentoring team members on safe and effective cleaning practices, fostering a positive and respectful work environment built on mutual support. You will also expertly manage inventory, prepare efficient work schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving any cleaning-related issues swiftly. Required Criteria • Able to fulfil the fixed shift patterns of the role. • Demonstrated ability to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. • Strong leadership and team motivation skills. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations. • Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies. Desired Criteria • Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH). • Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting. • Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management. • Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
