Job Title:   Inventory Control Clerk   Department: Reports to:   Distribution Su p Effective Date: J ob Summary:   Responsible for controlling inventory movement and adjustments. Supervisory Responsibilities: N one. Duties/Responsibilities: • R esponsible for controlling inventory movement and processing inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records. • Monitors inventory transactions, investigates discrepancies, and reconciles inventory variances. • Maintains   accurate   inventory data within the inventory management system. • Coordinates cycle counts and   assists   with physical inventory audits. • Reviews and   documents   inventory transfers, receipts, and shipments. • Works with operations and warehouse personnel to resolve inventory-related issues and   maintain   inventory accuracy. • Ensure   inventory   integrity through   accurate   tracking, movement control, adjustment processing, and discrepancy resolution. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.   At least two years   of   related experience   required . Physical Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. • Ability to   frequently   bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and squat while performing inventory counts and inspections. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to   25-50 pounds   on a regular basis. • Ability to   operate   warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, barcode scanners, and computers. • Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed to access inventory locations. • Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements for data entry and scanning activities. • Ability to visually inspect inventory, read labels, and distinguish product numbers and codes. • Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust.
