About the role: With the ever-growing number of clients and suppliers around the world, we need a specialist who will be supporting our AR activities in the US Collections Department to ensure financial stability in the company. What you will do: As part of our OTC Collections team, you will help ensure that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently while supporting the North American market. In this role, you will process incoming payments, manage deductions, generate customer statements, and issue manual invoices and credit notes. Using your attention to detail and analytical mindset, you will   maintain   accurate   records, support data processing activities, and collaborate with customers and colleagues across North America to ensure   timely   and   accurate   payment processing. This is   a great opportunity   to gain hands-on experience in an international environment and develop valuable Finance & Accounting skills. In detail, you will: • Prepare reports according to scheduled deadlines • Generate customer statements • Archive relevant AR documents • Participate in monthly and yearly closing • Carry out account analysis and reconciliation • Report to direct supervisor of any deviations from agreed standards (delays, use of wrong templates, missing input) • Perform collection process for assigned entity: contact customers   regarding   overdue accounts and   determine   reasons for non-payments • Deliver   a high level   of customer service • Prepare and update process documentation, elaboration of reports (periodical and upon request) • Develop and   maintain   professional relationships with various Business Units, Sales, and Key Individuals and Customers • Contribute to Electrolux Group and Sector goals, ( i.e , Sales, DSO, EBIT, NOWC) Qualifications & Requirements: • University degree – finance, accounting or related • Fluent English • Computer skills: MS Office, strong MS Excel • Detail-oriented with an eye for continual process improvement • Ability to multi-task under pressure • Knowledge and experience in reviewing and interpreting financial reports and data • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information • Ability to provide effective customer service to internal and external customers • Knowledge of accounting policies and principles, activities and processes, awareness of internal and external business environment will be an asset • Previous   experience in Collection or Accounting function will be an asset • SAP knowledge will be an   additional   advantage • Availability to work shifts (evening shift: 14:00-22:00 2   days / week ) Where you will be: You will be based in a modern office in Krakow.
