As we continue to scale our global platform, the ERP Developer – COBOL will play a critical role in maintaining and modernizing mission-critical ERP and manufacturing systems for the Fanatics Brands team in Hyderabad. ROLE OVERVIEW Fanatics Brands is seeking an experienced ERP Developer to join its Hyderabad team, focused on sustaining and evolving ERP and manufacturing systems built on COBOL that power critical business functions including Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment. This role bridges legacy system stewardship with forward-looking modernization work, enabling integration between established platforms and solutions like Manhattan Active. The ERP Developer – COBOL delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights. HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes. Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams) Partner closely with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate ERP requirements into effective technical solutions across Order Management, Inventory, and Fulfillment workflows. Collaborate with modernization teams to document legacy business logic, support migration planning, and align integration efforts with broader platform strategy. Contribute technical expertise in cross-team settings, communicating clearly with both engineering peers and non-technical partners to drive shared outcomes. Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans) Ensure system stability and reliability of the ERP stack that underpins order fulfillment and inventory operations, directly supporting the customer experience at scale. Resolve incidents and break-fix issues with urgency, minimizing disruption to the operational workflows that serve fans and retail partners globally. Build and maintain APIs and wrapper services that enable seamless integration between legacy ERP systems and modern platforms, improving speed and accuracy of order and inventory data. Support ERP workflows that ensure fans receive accurate, timely fulfillment of sports merchandise through dependable back-end operations. Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit) Refactor legacy COBOL code to improve maintainability, performance, and long-term scalability of core ERP modules. Assist in documenting and migrating legacy business logic to modern platforms, including integration with Manhattan Active and other contemporary solutions. Identify opportunities to implement CI/CD practices within legacy system environments, advancing engineering maturity and deployment reliability. Explore low-code and integration approaches, including exposure to platforms like Genero, to accelerate modernization of batch-driven and ERP workflows.
