Responsibilities
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute project plans.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring, grounding, and safety measures are followed according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry, renovation tasks, and other related trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously on construction sites, including proper handling of power tools and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Assist in the installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician systems for automation projects when required.
Qualifications
• Valid Commercial Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
• Extensive hands-on experience with electrical installations on construction sites, including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and industrial electrician practices.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices essential for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial control systems is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of renovation processes, construction site safety practices, and frame carpentry basics.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
