Description
This position administers the County’s compensation structures and performs compensation analysis to support pay decisions and regulatory compliance. The role is responsible for data accuracy, documentation, and consistent application of compensation policy.
Essential Duties
• Prepare compensation analyses for hiring, promotions, and position changes.
• Review and validate proposed salary offers.
• Review, update, and maintain job descriptions to ensure alignment with classification standards, compensation structures, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer job classifications, pay grades, and salary ranges.
• Support market pricing and salary survey analysis.
• Perform internal equity and job evaluation studies.
• Maintain compensation policies and documentation.
• Partner with HRIS staff to resolve compensation configuration issues and validate system outputs.
• Support audits and compliance reviews related to compensation.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to compensation analysis, job evaluation, and salary administration.
• Working knowledge of FLSA and pay equity requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Public-sector compensation experience preferred.
• Workday experience (HCM, Compensation, or Recruiting modules) preferred.
Minimum of range is $59,532.64. Starting pay is dependent on qualifications and internal equity.
