Description
Technologist Inc. is seeking to build a team of Construction Inspectors, Construction Managers, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, CAD Technicians, GIS Analysts, Space Planners and Project Programmer professionals in Colorado Springs. All work is to be performed onsite at Schriever Space Force Base. Hours expected to work 8AM-5PM Monday thru Friday with the exception of federal holidays. Project Programmer : Program up to 15 projects annually in compliance with applicable rules and incorporating user requirements. Update applicable databases, generate documentation, determine appropriate execution method, and gain project approval. Producing /inputting programming requirements in the Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP) based on project scope requirements. Preparing programming documents such as DD 1391 to gain approval from the appropriate government personnel, either locally or submitted through the AFCEC Project Authorization Tool. Facility Space Planner: Process an estimated 15 to 25 ad-hoc space allocation requests annually, translating tenant needs into actionable footprint solutions and matching them against existing installation inventory. Prepare presentation materials—including floor plan markups, utilization graphics, and analytical summaries—to support quarterly Facilities Board (FB) decision briefs Perform continuous data entry and record reconciliation within NexGen IT and unit files to ensure all physical unit moves, category code shifts, and square footage reallocations are immediately and accurately logged. CAD Technician: Produce and maintain installation drawing and mapping products in support of engineering, planning, and construction activities. Perform CAD tasks for SSFB base-wide requirements and assigned Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) using Autodesk Civil 3D and other Government-approved CADD software to update and revise existing technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on new specifications, field changes, and redline markups from engineers, architects, and contractors, ensuring that record drawings accurately reflect current conditions. Civil Engineer: Comprehensive planning and design for substantial, multi-phase new construction, renovation, and improvement projects for real property facilities and complex utility systems. Prepare, develop, and review detailed design calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, technical drawings, specifications, and Statements of Work (SOWs) for a wide variety of structures (including multi-story buildings and USSF facilities). Electrical Engineer: Comprehensive planning and design work for substantial, multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities and complex utility systems. Preparing, developing, or reviewing detailed design calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, technical drawings, and specifications for a wide variety of structures such as, multi-story buildings, and USSF often requiring significant departures from standard engineering practices. Develop and review design calculations, cost estimates, technical drawings, specifications, and Statements of Work (SOWs). GIS Analyst: Serve as a specialist for geospatial data, with responsibility for developing, maintaining, and supporting the databases, applications, and tools necessary for architectural, engineering, and base management practices. Perform work related to the creation and revision of existing maps, charts, and related cartographic products. This includes the investigation of source materials, assembling aerial photographs, drafting, digitizing, and editing geospatial data. Construction Inspector: Provide non-personal construction inspection support by performing inspections on a variety of complicated structures involving difficult and complex construction. The inspector must ensure awarded construction projects are executed in accordance wi
