Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and Western-qualified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The successful candidate will utilize cutting-edge imaging technologies to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular and non-vascular conditions while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and interventional radiology facilities. Requirements · Perform a comprehensive range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions. · Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI guidance. · Perform angiography, angioplasty, embolization, thrombolysis, vascular access procedures, biopsies, drainages, ablations, and other interventional procedures. · Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, emergency physicians, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans. · Interpret diagnostic imaging studies accurately and provide timely clinical reports. · Assess patients before procedures, obtain informed consent, and manage peri-procedural care. · Monitor patients during and after procedures while ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. · Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor boards where applicable. · Supervise junior physicians, radiology fellows, and technologists as required. · Maintain accurate electronic medical records and procedural documentation. · Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental audits, and clinical governance activities. · Ensure compliance with hospital policies, UAE healthcare regulations, and international accreditation standards.
