Job Description A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a Consultant / Specialist – Ophthalmologist to join its ophthalmology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of eye conditions while providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose various ophthalmic conditions. Manage and treat eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, corneal conditions, and other ocular disorders. Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgical interventions as per expertise. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate patient counseling. Interpret diagnostic tests, including OCT, visual field tests, and ocular imaging. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for ophthalmic procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards and patient safety protocols. Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development activities. Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. MS / MD / DNB / DO / FRCS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology. Relevant clinical experience in Ophthalmology. Expertise in diagnosing and managing ophthalmic conditions.
