Description
The Group Desk Coordinator specializes in Convention groups, acting as a liaison between the Hotel and Sales Department at Wynn|Encore.  This includes providing support with group reservations, group contacts, group master accounts, group billing, special requests, room assignments, distribution of keys, attending Pre-Convention meetings and answering questions pertaining to groups. Job Responsibilities: • Work with Convention Services Managers and Convention Desk to ensure all appropriate information is communicated to the Front Office in a timely manner to prepare for and execute group arrivals and departures. • Review group resumes and ensure that all contractual concessions are upheld during the group’s program. • Compile requested daily reports for in-house groups. • Maintain all master accounts while Convention groups are in-house by completing necessary billing revisions. • Attend Pre-Convention meetings to review details for all up-coming Convention groups. • Interact positively with guests and on-site contacts while promoting hotel facilities and services. • Working in a team-oriented environment. • Maintain cleanliness of the Group Desk area. • High school diploma or equivalent • Two years of customer service experience • Minimum of two years Guest Services and/or Front Desk experience at a luxury resort • Knowledge of hotel property management system (Opera) preferred. • Proficiency in MS Office Wynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
