The PlayStation Studios: Creative team is an award winning, global internal creative agency within PlayStation Studios. We endeavour to build a working environment where we can flourish and create industry leading work. Structured around 2 teams; Brand & Strategy and the Creative Studio, comprising of four core disciplines; Design & illustration, UI/UX, Motion & 3D, Film and Video. We deliver projects in collaboration with our game development and marketing/PR teams.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our creative endeavors! As a key client-facing leader, you will partner with global stakeholders across multiple regions, building strong relationships and translating business needs into impactful creative solutions. You will serve as a trusted point of contact, ensuring creative deliverables align with project objectives, client expectations, and business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the daily operations of the Creative Team in Malaysia.
Cultivate a creative, diligent, and inclusive work environment.
Manage the team's capacity plan, track utilisation, and handle competing priorities to ensure resources are effectively deployed.
Work together with the regional Production and Operations team to clearly define new briefs and build solid working relationships with partners.
Assist Production and Operations by supplying resources.
Collaborate closely with Creative leadership to manage a list of external agencies and freelancers.
Efficiently plan, produce, and deliver content on time and within budget, while proactively addressing potential issues.
Schedule and manage resources for multiple projects concurrently.
Challenge existing methods and continually review technology to improve processes and pipelines.
Stay current with new tools, techniques, and practices in the industry.
Staffing:
Retain and improve a dedicated and efficient team that upholds the highest quality and standards.
Conduct regular one-to-ones, support career development, and ensure team wellbeing in a high-volume, multi-project environment.
Partner with talent acquisition and the Creative Director to interview, evaluate, acquire, and retain top talent.
Guide artists from various fields and set recruiting objectives for HR to ensure a balanced team.
Focus on guiding the team to encourage continuous development and offer both professional and personal support.
Required Skills/Tools
Outstanding verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
A well-balanced combination of expertise in business strategy, process management, and people management.
Ability to identify new business opportunities and lead internal business plans to achieve Creative and Malaysia objectives.
R
