A fast-growing concrete coatings company expanding its Nashville operation, is seeking a Crew Lead - Concrete Coatings to join its team in Nashville, Tennessee. This hands-on leader will oversee residential and commercial installations, guide a small crew, and deliver a professional customer experience from arrival through project completion. Ownership of a qualified pickup truck is not required, but candidates who provide one may qualify for additional commission-based earnings. What You'll Do as the Crew Lead - Concrete Coatings: • Lead a small installation crew through residential and commercial concrete coating projects. • Review each job site, evaluate the condition of the concrete, and determine the appropriate preparation and application approach. • Oversee surface preparation, coating application, cleanup, and final quality checks. • Ensure each project meets company standards for appearance, durability, safety, and workmanship. • Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and other customer contacts. • Review project expectations with customers, answer questions, and help complete required contracts and payment collection. • Keep job sites, tools, equipment, and installation trailers clean and organized. • Travel to local project sites throughout the Nashville area, with occasional longer-distance or multi-day projects. • Work overtime or Monday through Saturday when project schedules require it. • Take ownership of job-site decisions, crew performance, and customer satisfaction. Must-Haves as the Crew Lead - Concrete Coatings: • Hands-on experience in flooring, concrete, coatings, construction, or a similar skilled trade. • The ability to lead, train, and hold a small crew accountable. • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finished work. • Confidence communicating directly with homeowners and other customers. • The judgment to evaluate concrete conditions and adjust the installation plan when needed. • A dependable, positive, and accountable approach to work. • Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed. • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. • Reliable transportation to the Nashville location and assigned job sites. Nice-to-Haves as the Crew Lead - Concrete Coatings: • Previous experience with polyurea, polyaspartic, or other concrete coating systems. • Experience leading garage floor, commercial flooring, decorative concrete, or concrete resurfacing projects. • A pickup truck that is seven years old or newer and capable of towing a fully equipped 5,000-pound trailer. • Appropriate vehicle insurance coverage for towing company equipment. • Experience working in a production-based or commission-based compensation environment. • Experience reviewing job documents, collecting payments, or managing customer sign-off at project completion.
