Our unique approach of working "As One" allows us to integrate diverse sectors of the retail market efficiently and effectively.   The Designer will play a crucial role in creating innovative and commercially   viable   collections that meet the needs of high-street fashion brands. As a key member of the design team, this role   requires a blend of creative vision, technical   expertise , and strong  organizational   skills to collaborate effectively with   the design team,   account managers, offshore product development teams, and clients. The Designer will contribute to seasonal collections, focusing on trends in  color , fabric, and micro-trends, while ensuring that the end products align with market demands. Design: • Create and develop original designs for high-street fashion brands, incorporating current trends and customer preferences. • Work collaboratively with the design team to contribute to seasonal colo r, fabric, and micro-trend development. • Translate design ideas and concepts into sketches, technical drawings, and digital illustrations using design software   (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop). Collaboration   & Communication : • Partner closely with account managers and offshore product development teams to finalize seasonal collections and present them to clients. • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, factories, and third parties across the Far East and Europe to ensure alignment on design goals. Fabric and Material Selection: • Assist   in the   selection   of fabrics, trims, and notions that align with the collection's aesthetic and functional requirements. • Conduct tests on materials to evaluate performance, durability, and suitability for intended use. Technical Responsibilities: • Generate detailed tech packs for designs, ensuring all specifications are clear and achievable. • Provide indirect management and support to offshore development teams, guiding them to meet design requirements and timelines. Sample Development: • Collaborate with sample makers during the development process, ensuring prototypes align with design vision and specifications. • Participate in fitting sessions, providing input on fit, comfort, and style adjustments. Quality Assurance: • Monitor the quality of samples received, ensuring they meet both design and production standards. • Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve any quality issues during production.
