The role As a  DevOps Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate  for mindset and  tooling , value the longstanding DevOps technologies and help our customers to continuously improve their DevOps environment. How  you’ll  make impact • You  can balance technical hands-on work with strategic thinking • You  are responsible for  ensuring the operation of production and development environments, as well as resolving disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers. • You bring operational  excellence   into development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality. • Building and continuously  optimizing  automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring are also within your responsibilities. • Strong stakeholder management and subtle leadership skills as influencing without authority and managing political nuances are daily real ities . • You provide customer consultation  regarding  new infrastructure projects. What’s  important to us • You have already worked for several years in software development and architecture and are also familiar with operational topics. • You have experience in the following technologies: Shell (Unix Shell/PowerShell),  Java,  Jenkins,  Ansible,  Maven, Gradle, Git , GitLab, Artifactory . • A quick grasp,  strong communication  skills and an understanding of business processes help you to understand complex client problems. • A technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) would be a plus. • Daily communication and interaction with customers and colleagues bring you joy –  fluent   in German  and  English .
