Avelios is a healthcare software company that digitizes and optimizes hospital workflows. This DevOps Engineer role involves taking ownership of deploying and operating the company's software platform in both cloud and clinical environments, collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. What You'll Do • Collaborate with the core development team to roll out new features and services • Design, test, deploy, and maintain infrastructure powering Avelios in hospitals and the cloud • Operate and improve large-scale deployments with high availability and performance requirements • Apply best practices in observability, incident response, and fault tolerance • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable in clinical environments • Continuously propose and implement improvements to performance, automation, and tooling What You Need • Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience • Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices • Solution-oriented mindset and pragmatic, hands-on working style • Fluency in English Nice to Have • Experience with modern toolchains and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible • Strong interest in learning new technologies and working in fast-paced, high-impact settings • German language proficiency Monthly meal allowance up to €75, full coverage of Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or subsidized Wellpass membership, bike leasing program, Corporate Benefits discounts, virtual stock option package (VSOP), flexible working hours with trust-based time tracking
