Talencia is looking for a DevOps NGINX Engineer for one of its clients.   Location: Brussels Start date:  ASAP  Duration: Long-term    Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in Networking and Security environments. Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented and proactive mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. English is mandatory (written and spoken). French and/or Dutch is a plus. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.   Technical Requirements Operating Systems & Security Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Excellent knowledge of SELinux administration and troubleshooting. Experience with system hardening, patching, and performance tuning.   Automation & Configuration Management Strong expertise in Ansible. Ability to develop and maintain playbooks, roles, and inventories. Infrastructure automation and configuration management experience.   Web & Network Services Expertise with NGINX / NGINX+ as Reverse Proxy and Load Balancer. Experience with F5 ApProtect Web Application Firewall. Experience with OPSWAT MetaDefender AV/AM solutions. Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web security concepts. Good knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, and DNS.   DevOps & CI/CD Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps. Experience designing and implementing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Azure Repos, Artifacts, and deployment pipelines.   Version Control Advanced Git knowledge: Branching strategies Rebasing and conflict resolution Tagging and cherry-picking Pull request workflows   Scripting & Programming Strong Bash scripting skills. Working knowledge of Python. Knowledge of Java is considered an asset.   Working Conditions The consultant is expected to be present on-site in Brussels at least once per month.
