What You'll Be Doing • Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently • Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment • Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations What Are We Looking For • Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery • Strong focus on safety and compliance standards • Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments • Effective communication and teamwork skills • Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer • $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate • $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) • Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension • Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
