Job Overview We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Dutch Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Analyst to join a dynamic, fast-paced social media team based remotely within Bulgaria. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Dutch-speaking professional who is passionate about creating safer, more trustworthy digital environments across leading social media platforms. In this Dutch Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Analyst position in Bulgaria, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing, assessing, and acting upon content and behaviour that may violate community standards, platform policies, and digital safety guidelines — helping to safeguard millions of users across the social media landscape. Key Responsibilities Review and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Dutch, ensuring full compliance with established community guidelines and platform policies. Identify, assess, and take appropriate action on potentially harmful, abusive, or policy-violating content including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and fraudulent activity. Analyse patterns of suspicious or coordinated inauthentic behaviour across social media channels and escalate cases to senior trust and safety specialists where necessary. Provide accurate, well-documented decisions on content and account reviews, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency in all assessments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including legal, policy, and operations — to ensure platform safety standards are upheld at all times. Monitor emerging trends, threats, and digital risks within the Dutch-speaking social media community and contribute insights to ongoing policy development. Handle sensitive and complex user reports with professionalism, empathy, and strict adherence to data privacy regulations and internal protocols. Participate in regular training sessions and calibration exercises to stay current with evolving trust and safety frameworks, platform updates, and best practices within the social media industry. Requirements Native or fluent Dutch language proficiency, both spoken and written, is essential for this role. Valid EU passport is mandatory. A strong understanding of social media platforms, digital communication norms, and online community behaviour within Dutch-speaking markets. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail when reviewing sensitive content. Ability to work independently and remotely while managing a high volume of content reviews with accuracy and efficiency. A resilient, professional mindset with the ability to handle exposure to potentially disturbing or sensitive content in a composed and responsible manner. Previous experience in trust and safety, content moderation, digital compliance, or a related field within the social media or technology sector is highly advantageous. Good working knowledge of English to communicate effectively within an international team environment.
