We are looking for an Early Childhood Teaching Assistant for an international school in Chongqing starting from the upcoming 2026 – 2027 academic year in August 2026. About the school This well-established international school in Chongqing offers a through-train education for expatriate students from early childhood to upper secondary, combining international programmes with a strong bilingual English-Chinese approach and a broader emphasis on whole-child development. Its academic pathway includes internationally recognised secondary options such as Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme, while the wider learning environment places value on personalised support, cross-cultural understanding, and a broad co-curricular experience. Job responsibilities Create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2 to 5 Design and implement playful, age-appropriate learning experiences that support social, emotional, and early cognitive development Foster positive relationships with children and communicate warmly and effectively with parents Work alongside class teachers to support daily routines, classroom management, and learning activities Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 – 16:30 Requirements Experience in early childhood education, preferably with toddlers A patient, creative, and responsive teaching style Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity Benefits Monthly salary of 22,000 to 24,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications Housing provided Expat high-end medical insurance Visa transfer support provided 1-year contract, renewable based on performance and school development
