Why this role matters:
As an EHS Specialist, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety programs across our site in Valencia. You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our people safe, our operations compliant, and our safety culture strong. Operating as a standalone position within the Valencia facility, you will have strong cooperation with local leadership and global EHS management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Ensure facility compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments in accordance with global practices
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels
- Maintain and test emergency response plans and procedures
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Solid working knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in EHS management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and data reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (experience in 5-Why, fishbone, or other RCA methodologies)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience working with contractors and managing permit-to-work systems
